Open the Files app from Chromebook, you will find the downloaded file chprofessional-8.0.0.linux64-2.6.18.intel.tar.gz,
drag this file from Folder Downloads to Linux files
which just below Downloads , you will find the file showing up under Folder Linux files.
Launch the Terminal app from the Launcher, type the command:
tar xzf chprofessional-8.0.0.linux64-2.6.18.intel.tar.gz
cd chprofessional-8.0.linux64-2.6.18.intel
sudo ./install.sh
Following the instructions on the screen to finish the installation.
After you are done with the installation, you can find the ChIDE and Ch Terminal icon within the Linux app from the launcher, click the icon to run ChIDE.
